Rio del Sol Updated Personal Electronic Devices Policy

Greetings Rio del Sol Families,

We hope everyone is having a wonderful last few days of summer break. We are looking forward to welcoming your students back to our campus for an amazing 2024-25 school year.As we enter the year ahead, our focus remains on the academic success and well being of our students. To this end,  for the 2024-2025 school year, we have updated our personal electronic device policy. The policy is in line with the state initiative for cell phone free campuses and we need your partnership in ensuring our students are not distracted by their mobile devices. We all value our students’ ability to focus during school hours and to build meaningful relationships with their teachers and fellow classmates. Studies have shown that a student's academic performance and social and emotional well-being benefit dramatically when distractions are minimized. We have attached our updated policy below.
